I use my Pfaff and it does a mighty fine job, wish the opening were larger as working on large projects is tricky. Can't afford a new machine right now and a long arm is in the far off future. So for now it is my faithful Pfaff.

I quilt on my sewing machine, mostly I do queen size quilts. My machine is on an expandable table so it supports the quilt while I work. I'm another one with a long arm machine on my dream list.

Which Singer model is in your avatar? I have a Pfaff 130 built in 1950 (by serial number reference) that looks just like it. Great machines!

I use a Juki TL98QE with a 9-1/2" throat to do FMQ quilting on. I do double and queen size quilts most always. Centers are a little tight but, I do it, I don't enough space for a long arm and I won't have them quilted for me because I want to say I made them myself.

I did a twin size one a couple of days ago on my Bernina. It was physically hard for me to do and not the greatest job - don't know if I'll tackle that again!
