    Units, gotcha!
After reading the instructions twice I wanted to make sure that I could combine working on both UNITS for a portion of the first clue.
Thank you! Off to pull out the Accuquilt and Die😀

Now that the first clue is up, I’d better decide on my fabrics. I didn’t have much luck at the LQS and then life got in the way. I have enough to do a small selection of units but they’re not batiks as I’d originally planned. This coming week I’ll need to go shopping again.

Enjoy the Mystery I look forward to pix.

I'm glad her first clue is usually an easy one. I've already cut the strips but will wait to sew them until I bind a couple of quilts. I hate taking off and putting the walking foot back on my machine - it's a bear to do so. I changed my colours - blue is purple and green is aqua. The neutral is a constant as it has a pattern to it.

    Cute units!

I'm toying with the idea of using one set of fabrics for each clue (never tried that before), so we'll see if I follow through. The temptation to go scrappy may be too great.

    BelfryBat: your fabrics look fabulous!

Joe’smom: I made a test block of each unit (made from my scrap bin) and they are really cute!

I'm half and half. I am making half blocks in purple, orange and lime green with black neutrals. The second quilt is Mardi Gras with purple, green and gold and light neutrals. Of course, I will also make mine rectangular. Throw/twin size is what I aim for.

Since today is still time off from work and school, I got to play! I made about a quarter of the units.
