I have the day off work and Pat took me to breakfast. He is getting ready to go to work and I have all evening for sewing. (AND I'm in the mood for it.)

Getting out of bed without pain and seeing the sun shining bright makes me happy. Lovely day it was today!

My oldest son took me out for lunch and to go grocery shopping, taking great care of me while my shoulder heals from surgery. So good to be out of the house for a while and get a breath of fresh air!!

Finished a quilt top - and out of the blue my DH suggested he take me to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. It was a wonderful date.

I was told that I could come in later to work tomorrow... and I bought some fabric since it was on sale... I was able to get a yard for a quarter and the other two were only 1.99 a yard. Our store is having a lot of sales since we are remodeling and our clearance section has some decent fabrics... and a 75% off the clearance sales price doesn't hurt either!
