Ladies and Gents - I am still here behind the scences. I have adopted the unoffical title of SOCIAL COORDINATOR. I have talked to so many of you in the last few days that I feel close to a lot of you. Nice feeling. I hope all my efforts have been of use and for those who have not been adopted yet, I am still working on that. I will try my best not to leave anyone out. Thank you all for your patience. Isn't this board the greatest!

Sara, I use Hobbs or warm and natural, low loft would be fine too.

I consider myself a beginner even though I have been trying to quilt for almost 5 years now. I hand quilt, afraid to machine quilt, but do machine piece, love applique, trying Hawiian quilting, EPP, want to do wholecloth quilting - really only completed 3 big (throws) quilts during this time and a few wall hangings (which in my opinion turned out bad, but the people loved them). I am getting better at it. I don't know which category I would fall into. I am not on the computer during the weekend (as of yet, anyway), but would like to buddy with someone that we can talk things over - I don't think I would be a good candidate to teach someone as I am still not confident enough with my own skills. dphleps - thank you for all the work you are doing on this . I just love this place.

I would like to get a list together of those who need help or a buddy and one for those who are available to be a buddy. How does that sound? Would everyone work with me?
I would like a mentor plse.
