I have a friend named William Bills. My name is Linda L Crawford and have a sister in law named Linda L Crawford.
Had a sister and a sister in law named Dorothy Burns. Knew a lady named Pinky Black. My DH and I used to do little kids sports pix. Had one little boy named Buckwheat. Really! Had boys in my classes. One was named Antonio Guzman Jr. (he was the oldest) His younger brother was Antonio Guzman. I worked in a computer center that distributed reports. Last names first. One guy named Small, Dick.

This didn't actually happen, but my Mom always enjoys relating that when she was pregnant with me and she and my Dad were deciding on names, my Dad's first 2 choices were Sybil and Lorna. Thank goodness Sybil didn't pass the test. Lorna didn't make it either as my Mom said only if her middle name is Doon!! I ended up as Karen - a rather boring and normal name. I am so grateful!

My grandpa wanted my parents to name me "LeIsle Lorraine". (pronounce lee aisle, after my great grandma, and Lorraine because my grandpa's name is Lorin)...I was born in 1989...a little out of the generation ya think? Thank goodness my mom stuck with Hailee.

    Once dated Allen Alan Allan...
Had a customer...last name "Crapper"...absolutely cool woman, she is a teacher...imagine what the kids do with that?
My mother had a friend, last name was "Head". Named her daughters "Candy Hedd" and "Flower Hedd"...wanted to name my brother when he was born if he was a girl. When Daddy asked what she would name a girl, she replied with "Feather Star Pettis"...Dad agreed, as long as if the baby was a boy he could name him "Mortimer Hugo Pettis"...brother's name is George!!

I seem to remember another odd name from my past every few days. I'd forgotten that my Home Ec teacher's name was Mrs. Coldiron.
    Was that perfect, or what?
All us girls used to laugh whenever we said her name, of course we were only 12 and 13.

I wanted to name our daughter Angela Sue. Our last name starts with an S. I was very pregnant and woke up in the middle of the night and said we couldn't give her those initials. Her name is Angela Marie. Nice and boring. Hopefully.
