I work on string quilts in the middle of the night when my ankles hurt and I can't sleep. I found it more tedius when I had a set number that had to be completed and it seemed to take forever. Plus only using neutrals seemed to make it more tedius to stitch them.

When my late husband was ill and having trouble sleeping, I made 3 Christmas string quilts. They seemed to go faster because I didn't have a time limit and I just worked on them when I wanted to.

My kids leave tomorrow and I can get back to piecing. All the hst are made and the brown triangles are cut. I should be all caught up by the time the next step comes out. Yeah team!!

I am so ready. I'm making black and white string blocks for another quilt right now. I just can't stop with the strings!! But when I get the next clue, you can bet the little black and white string blocks will go in a cute little basket!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I am glad I am not alone... I don't use a whole lot of 2" squares in large quilts. It seems to take forever making these fivesies.

Nope, I am about half done with Part 1 of Step 6, and have not started part 2. I'll get there eventually!
