confession time? One year, mom sent me way too many packages for Easter, so I put them in the freezer. They tasted fine when I got them out a few months later. And, then, I hid some blue ones somewhere - - I forget if it took me a year or two years to find them again, and they were NOT in the freezer, but they ate well! LOL <wave>

Yesterday, I saw and bought chocolate covered peeps. They, too, are good but in a different way. When I think of Easter peeps, I want yellow peeps. I don't care for the marshmallow bunnies or anything else, just peeps.

Oh my yes...especially when I came across the choc covered peeps. But then I'd probably try anything covered with choc, lol

Have you ever put one in the microwave and watched it?
yes the colors do taste different yellow ones are the best. DH likes them stale.

I as started browsing the site I had just opened a package of yellow chick peeps. So I too am on the side of I like yellow, soft peeps. I only eat them at Easter and I usually share them with my DGD.
