I'm Mimi and my husband is Grumpy. Great grandparents are called Great Papa and Great Mama. I love that!

I am Nana and my husband is Grampa Bob to one set and Bumpa to the others. That's the only way my one DGD could say Grampa so Bumpa stuck.

Our oldest granddaughter, Abigail,6 yrs old, calls me Grandma (who would have thunk?) Our youngest granddaughter, Kamber calls me MIMI, her choice not mine. Always makes me think of a screaming mimi, or Mimi on that Drew Carey Show. Either ones not a good picture. Oh well, she doesn't know any different she's only 22 months. Both the loves of my life. I raised 3 boys and they call their dad's mom Googie. The oldest was the lst grandchild and he is the one who came up with one. Everyone calls her that, nieces, nephews, friends, etc. Have to admit it's original.

Many years ago, my children named me "Muggy", reasoning that calling out "Mommy" in a store, etc. would yield too many responses. My grandchildren, their friends, and a couple of very special adults now all call me "Muggy". By the way, my husband's name became "FraPa" when he refused to choose a name for himself.

Gramma Robin and Poppa Steve. The first time I heard gramma my heart just melted. I love being a grandma.
