Thanks for the education! I've never seen - or maybe just hadn't recognized - a cotton field. I do remember from school days that Eli Whitney was responsible for the cotton gin but I never actually knew what it was. Could you mix it with tonic? heh heh

I remember my daddy plowing with a couple of mules and my having to "pick" the cotton. I still have some scars on my fingers that I attibute to the cotton bolls.
