    Hello everyone,
I'm so excited to be starting on this project. I mailed out all my f-8's today. I am using a pattern from The Quilter's Cache, called "My Blue Heaven." I saw this pattern a few years ago and wanted to make the quilt. Now I have an excuse to do so and I have quilting buddies to help me. Today, I sent out teal fabric to all. I would like everyone to use white on white fabric of stars or snow flakes. I will be making the quilt on page 2, a quilt about 80" by 100". I have selected 4 fabrics to coordinate with my f-8's. I'm going for a cool January snowy warm quilt.
Yes, it should be doable to complete the 12 blocks in 2 months. I can't hardly wait to get started. Yea!!!!!! Happy sewing everyone.

    Happy Lab,

This is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love your color story already. Can't wait to work on this one.

Happylab, I didn't guess the block was going to look like page 2! I was surprised. Cute!

Hello fellow swappers. I am in Phoenix and won't be home til the 19th, but there is a fabric shop near my dads house that I like, so the plan is to go there in the morning and pick up my fabric. I can cut, package and mail from here.
I have a vison, and thought I had my fabric. decided the piece in my stash wasn't it. I plan to look for a yellow/gold and ask for white on white and/or yellowor gold to match and to use any star block. would that be ok? or should I pick the star block for each person? I also thought about sending 2 oor 3 choices to each person, one being simple and one a little more challenging. what do you all think?

Buslady, that's the route I went and I think it will allow you to have a quilt with a little more variety - so I'm 100% with your plan

Ready to get started! Can't wait to see what everyone has chosen for their block. Finishing up 3 blocks from Boom 11 this weekend.and clearing the runway for the "repeat boom." Hope to get a sample block photo posted as well.

    Salutations All . . .

It's mine . . . Groovy Pieces. Due date for delivery for my envelope was yesterday (6 Feb 14). I've gone back through the thread to find an answer to your question about my quilt name - I must have missed it. Soooooooooo. . . due to the name of the block I've chosen, I name my quilt
    Superstition. . .
