Ugh, Sewbiz, I feel for you. As you may recall I had it in July. Paul did too but he wasn't nearly as sick as me. Feel better soon! The chills were the worst part for me.
Anxious to get my package YAY! I need to clean up my sewing room. It's a disaster!!

I spent 2 hours in the middle of the night cleaning up my quilt fabric shelves. I was looking for some strapping I needed to fix my airplane bag. I found the strapping, fixed the bag and made my DH and son come look at my neat shelves.
It must be the week for daughter knee problems. DH and I are headed to Omaha to take care of 4 grandkids while daughter gets knee surgery. The four year old twins asked for swim lessons.
Take care of yourself Sewbiz. I haven’t gotten Covid yet. Tested everytime I had symptoms. I’m extremely careful as heart failure and Covid don’t mix well. Masks in airports, on Planes and emergency rooms. But honestly visiting the germ bombs (grandkids) is probably the most risky thing we do.

Here are a couple of blocks made this weekend. First is a Big T for Hav and her cherry f8. The second is for Terriamn, a churned star. The light color in the churned star is pale pink. Hope you both like them.

Love those blocks, Janice! I got my email from Pirate Ship too.
Yes, Susie, the chills are really bad. But, if I can keep on top of the fever (with advil) the chills go away too. Of course they all come right back before it's time for another dosing of meds. Hoping this doesn't last too many days longer!

Precious blocks, Janice!
MJP you are gonig to have a blast in Omaha with those grands! I hope your daughter gets the results she needs from that surgery. Good luck with the swimming lessons. Sounds like photo ops to me.
Good job to everyone that has cleaned their sewing room or a part of it. I don't have a sewing room. I have to clean up after every sewing binge I can can steal from my day.

GramE, I just sent your tracking number by email. Let me know if you get it.
One more block for tonight for Hav. I love this bee fabric. I used a black on black with a print that resembles honeycomb and the white has flowers on it. Seemed appropriate for this one. Look forward to making another bee block for my second set.
In a few days you’ll all start getting your fabrics and my time to make blocks will be cut into by posting blocks. I’d like to get a few more done before that happens. But my machine is still making some minimal noise so the oiling it I gave it hasn’t worked down to the all the parts that need it. It needs to settle overnight.
Til tomorrow, Roses.

Janice, I love the blocks you've made so far. I'm excited to start!!!
Sewbiz- hope you're on the mend. Glad the Advil is helping.
I still haven't cleaned up my room. Will someone please give me a good kick in the pants?

Good evening, Roses. My poor roses no longer look as pretty as they did a month ago. Too much rain. And the leaves are starting to fall but it’s just a reminder that autumn isn’t far away. Only a month or so. The weather today is gorgeous, only in the low 70s. The temp n the morning is likely to be low to mid 60s. What a fabulous break from the heat!
So, I had this great idea to arrange for your packages to be picked up by my carrier rather than lug them all to the post office. Well, here it is, nearly 5:30 pm, and, you guessed it, no mail carrier yet. I could have taken them like I usually do to the nearest post office one town over but no, I’d save myself the trip. Instead, I’ve been keeping my ears open for the truck. No truck so far. If it doesn’t come by 6:00, it probably won’t and I’ll be going to Horse Shoe (next town over) in the am. Another case of best laid plans.
I’m going to make myself a cup of decaf and watch the little hummies fly their aerial battles for dominion of the feeder. So entertaining.
I think I hear the truck…nope. Not yet.
