    Me too! But my favorite flowers are snapdragons and petunias...Anyone remember making the snapdragons sing???You used to pop them off the plant and push in gently at a certain area and they would open there mouths and sing or talk to the kids....You could entertain a 2 year old for a long time with that....

    Yes! I was telling my DH about that when I came up a snapdragon! He looked at me like I was nuts! Glad I'm not - or at least, that I have good company in Nutsville! :lol:

    I've never heard the snapdragons sing. My grandmothr told me that she was making them roar, but only the garden pixies could hear them roar. And, of course I believed her!

    Yes! And my DGD loved to watch bees crawl inside and disappear - I had to grad her little hand to keep her from reaching in to 'save' them.
