Another Kind of Grandmother's Flower Garden

I love more than ever the English paper piecing technique. For years I kept saying myself that I don't have enough patience for hand sewing but I was so wrong.
It was a quick project, with only 200 pieces. The sphere is 30'' in diameter.

Your creation is just beautiful and it looks like you have a lot of patience. Are you making a quilt or is this a wallhanging? Either way wonderful.

    Absolutely gorgeous!
Can't quite tell - did you adjust for the curve, or are all the hexagons the same size?

Wow, I don't actually care for the hexagons normally but I love what you created! I keep trying to go out of my comfort zone and this has given me the inspiration! I agree with everyone above, your work is truly wonderful! Thank you for sharing!

The Fusions look fantastic! Now I know what to do with a ton of Fusions scraps I have. And I see some colors I wish I had in my stash....

Beautiful. Love how you have taken one of the oldest quilt stalwarts and given it a totally contemporary look. Stunning.
