Great fmq, Kass. Glad you are taking the plunge! It's something you get better at, the more you do.

LOL I don't know about "plunge" since it is still straight lines (just in a lot more directions) so probably more of a "wade" lol lol lol

Lovely quilting, Kassaundra. Love your quilt colors. However you are doing the quilting, it’s getting done! Woo, hoo!

I’m still not done with putting my BOM top together. It’s more fidgety than I thought, adjusting for all those wrong sized blocks, especially since I’m easily frustrated with this part of the process. It’ll be about an hour’s work and then it’s time to finally start adding the borders. And it turns out my borders are actually the deepest, darkest blue I’ve ever seen. Lol. I think I need to improve my sewing room lighting.

As as I was bagging my blocks, I had so much left from DarcyShannon I decided to make another. I hope your young friend is happy with your quilt.

While I’ve been gone, a lot has happened. I’ve been caught up with family matters and my mother’s health. I come here and realize you all have had your share of life’s surprises and health matters. Terri, I am sad to hear about Vincent and hope he can be comfortable during this time.

Pam, I hope you heal soon.

I like the rule that no one can get hurt. Not super creative right now. Just wanted to say hi and see how you all were doing this week.

Hi DarcyShannon. Very sorry to hear your mother has had health problems. It’s good to see you posting again.

Well guess it is my turn to be gimpy. Last week on my Sat shift I slipped on the ambulance steps and hurt what I thought at the time was my ankle, after the global pain stopped and I had iced it for a day or so I realized it is my achilles tendon that is hurt. Babied it for several days w/ ice, rest and elevation. Went to work on my Thurs shift, at the end it was sore but not horrible. Went to work yesterday through the day it was getting sorer, this morning it was more sore then it had been in quite a while, but must have stepped wrong or something b/c suddenly instant out right pain again. So no church for me this morning I'm going to sit here w/ my ankle throbbing and my head pounding sulking and drink another cup of coffee and hope my bladder holds up so I don't have to make to many trips to the bathroom!

Kass, ditto what DH said about the X-ray. Achilles problems always hurt like the dickens. Try not to drink too much coffee! Hugs. Feel better soon.
