Happy Independence Day, Dunes! My sons leave this afternoon so I’ll soon be back with you and I’ll catch up on your posts and blocks. Enjoy the holiday. Hope you get to spend time with your family and friends.

Sewbiz your quilt is beautiful, tons of work and your quilting is gorgeous. Way to go.

Pamela both your blocks turned out so pretty. Love your color choices in both of the blocks.

Darcyshanon I agree with you your block choice is great, love the movement.

Looks like we are in for a big storm very soon. Hopefully it will be a quickie and not a dangerous one. Nothing like being in a RV during a storm.

Anyway, SBG I was wondering the same thing, the quilting is a really nice choice for that pattern. I also like how the simple double pinwheel block makes such a dramatic border. Clever color choices. So who gets to use this quilt? I am glad you are enjoying your new machine.
What?! You went out without your bubble suit! We are all supposed to be wearing them! LOL... so glad it was just a skinned elbow and not a break! Have you heard of NuSkin? You can get it in a spray and it's wonderful for keeping the wound covered... just like skin. It stops the sting from air hitting open tissue. So sorry for your mishap!

The quilt has quite a lot of changes from Bonnie Hunter's version...color, border, setting. This one is mine and will go on one of the upstairs beds for guests. Thank you!

Thank you, Terri. It's such a relief to have it done. It's really just a huge practice piece for fmq on the new machine, LOL!

Hope your storm has safely passed.

Got 3 more done. Only one to go. Im wondering if anyone knows...Does Janice want the groups returned to her seperately so she can start sorting or are we to hold them all and send at once? These are for Starfar, Billi and Gram E
I loved that white with grams F8...so dainty and crisp. Sorry it doesnt show up good in the picture but I think its dainty.

I got another one done today, H4B's music fabric. I like optical illusion type blocks alot and this one seemed sorta musical.

DarcyShannon, Oh my, so sorry about your fall. Just glad it wasn’t worse. You will be sore for a while. I might try that NuSkin Sewbiz suggested on my daughter. She has several blisters on her toes from sandles and she looks funny with so many bandaids on her toes. Haha

Joan, nice blocks. Great fussy cutting with Stafar’s material. Those little octopi look like they are dancing.

Kass, The block for Hav4boys is fantastic. I also love the optical illusion blocks. Looks great with the b/w/r

Happy 4th everyone.

Happy 4th of July ladies. Hope someone is having nice weather and celebrating the holiday. Sewbiz round one was huge winds and very little rain. Thankfully didn’t last long. We are now on storm 2, most of the parades have been cancelled, lots of disappointed little ones

sewbiz love your table runner.

Darcy ouch, i’m A master at falling down boom and scrapping my arms and legs. Can totally sympathize with you.

Joan all 3 of your blocks are lovely.

Kass great deminionial block.
