1)I finished my quilt top,
2)Our house appraised for more than we needed for a home equity loan!
3)The sun was out and it felt good to sit outside and soak it all in.
4) Did I mention - I finished my quilt top???

Thank you, I'm still having a great day. DS and two of my DB have called this afternoon. Went to dinner and ate to much, it sure was good. DH ate a hugh piece of coconut pie. Not my favorite so I didn't stuff.

Might seem odd, but what made me happy today was meeting with an attorney to sue for damages for our flooding issues. I'd been dreading it, but it went really well.

That, and the winds today blew out a lot of smog and we were able to see the snow-capped mountains in all their glory.

Yesterday's happiness was buying lots of fabric on sale. Clearance sale on an even lower clearance price. I'll have pics later this week.

Met a friend for brunch today. I'm happy that we had a wonderful visit. She is 2/3 through chemo for the 3rd round of breast cancer.

Like Quilting Grannie, went shopping after. Found 12 yards of lime fabric for new quilt room curtains plus some great finds for the stash!

I found ric rac today. I know. How dumb is that? We have no stores. I went down to the little quilt shop five towns down and thought no shot in heck.. and in the back.. they have a tiny amount of things like.. ric rac. I wanted some pink. They had pink. I left feeling like singing. Its the little things that can truly make your day. I am making a chocolate easter bunny and needed frosting. YIPPEEE!!! (fabric no calories).

Since I post early in the AM usually, I will include yesterday's happiness. For me, it was making sure the house is presentable. I know, I know... Who thinks of work as bringing happiness? But, for me, it means my children are coming home - TODAY!!!!

Baby sitting my sick Olivia. Not that she is sick,of course, but that I was here and could stay with her allowing Mom & Dad to go to work. I will get extra cuddles and holding her is the greatest.

Starting the packing process to move to a little bit bigger apartment. Now DH won't complain so much when he's here. As soon as I pick my grandson up from PK, he will be my "helper". I'm sure it will be good for a few laughs!
