I'm sorry, I may have missed it, but did you name the horse? If so, what did you decide? Curiosity is driving me nuts!!!

I just rescued a dog and named her Ruby.....how about that? Or Pearl......or Purl? or Rubypurl

I"m sorry to say she still has no name. The man who owns our barn is calling her "America". He said it's criminal for her not to have a name. She is the darling of the barn. Everyone knows where she came from so she is getting lots of love and attention. Of course she is her momma's baby! She adores peppermints and kisses you for them. How she ever ended up where she did remains a mystery to me. She is such a lover.

thanks for all the suggestions. I keep trying them out on her. One will stick...

Then, in my book her name is America!

I wonder if he has called her that already.

Does she respond well to America? I think you ought to wait a couple of days after you work with her and brush her and do her feet, you'll find the exact name you want for her. She's a beauty!! And so are you for saving her!
