I've turned into one only because I'm going to be selling quilts for charity and I'm doing the tops first then I will complete them 1 by 1.

Piecing is not my favorite part, I tend to do a quilt start to finish before the next one.
there has only been one quilt top i had folded up for years. I wanted to make it bigger, and thought one day I would be lucky enough to find more of the fabric. That never happend. So last year I finally finished it.
However I think this board is gettting to me! I have a top, done (maybe) and I am already playing with my greens! I don't have backing for the top, or know if I even want to call it done. Might go bigger.... But those greens need to be put into blocks.... So now Im juggling.

My grandmother has bags and bags of tops that she will not be able to finish now that her health is bad. Because of that, I try very hard to get every top I make quilted and finished as soon as it is done. That's the reason I do so much with quilt as you go. I can finish it whether I have the money for a longarmer or not.

I now have three UFO table runners and two UFO quilt tops, all ready to be hand quilted since I found this board. I spend too much time on the board and find too many new patterns that I want to try.

Tops are a form of wealth. I can prep one for quilting when I go on a trip without a machine. I'm not bothered by my tops-in-waiting.

Well, since I am just a beginner, I only have one project going, but based on my previous experience when I was working with glass fusing, I will have more than one project going at a time. In fact, I already have the "ingredients" for my next project!

I don't worry about having UFOs, if I don't ever finish them all that is ok with me :D:D:D

I have about ten tops that need quilting. My goal this year is to at least get 4 done. I'm working on my second now but boy is it hard not to start on that next new project.
