Good for you, fabrics are much easier to see and use when you can see them. I got a very nice white 48" x 72" and 24" deep cabinet from Lowes and it is really nice and holds so much I almost have it totally full buying lots more fabrics (46 Yds,).

Oh Jingle, don't tell me that. I want shelves but don't want to buy to fill them. LOL. I like Lowe's though. May have to go up there soon.

Msdixie - I have tubs, boxes, sacks, etc. I can't see what I have so I buy more as I need it. No tubs in the "new room" for me. ONly shelves and drawers and such. And no sunlight problem in there. I have one window in that room and I have wooden blinds and the fabric shelves are away from direct light. ALready thought of that.

Debbie, you're off to an amazing start! I know you're working hard at it, and you've got some great progress to show.

Remember the tortoise and the hare story. Slow and steady wins! Enjoy finding your new (old) treasures!

Noticed your offers on the board today so knew you must have started your 'adventure'. Looks like you had a productive day - a little at a time and you'll soon be enjoying an organized work space.

Yup, I decided those scrap boxes would make me more room too. I am filling them as I find big scraps, etc. SO keep your eyes open. I decided, as soon as ladies bring me scraps at guild, I will come home, put them in a box and put them there again. I take them so I can share so won't turn them down. I have high hopes of never getting in this shape again. Going to go down the hall again.
