I love your hand quilting and quilting as you go, Violetsfarm. Beautiful colors.

I get my pp from a disk ordered from Amazon.com that goes with the farmer's wife book that puts it into EQ7..so I can decide which way to go in piecing the block. I find the book disk is fine for hand piecing...but my hands hurt too bad most of the time to hand piece, so I rotary cut, by semi-using the templates or pp.and sew them on my Bernina.

Violet your hand quilting is beautiful! I love the different designs you're doing on each block.

I think I have to make my templates like DD suggested; my printer hasn't worked right in a month--"communications stopped" %^%$##$$. My DH can use my printer from his computer in the basement. I'm 12 feet away and they can't communicate???? Thanks for all the suggestions; you ladies keep me sane LOL.

I'm fixin' to add my 61 & 62 photos to the photo page. First, though, a brief rundown of DH. He had open heart surgery on Feb. 22 (replaced aortic & mitral valves & had 2 arterial by-passes). I won't go into detail, but on Feb. 23, they had to go back in ... less than half the time & stress of the first surgery. This week, he had a pacemaker put in. It's been a huge struggle with excess fluids (finally have the breathing tube out today), kidney problems (dialysis every other day), etc., etc., but the kidneys are functioning now ... it's just a matter of getting the right chemical?? balance. We can finally see daylight at the end of the tunnel and hope he's out of CV ICU soon.

Thank you QuiltingNinaSue. I don't have EQ, but I am using the pp from the Yahoo group.

Thank you JanRN. Since I am quilting as I go, I have 66 blocks finished complete with quilting. (not the sashing).

Weezie - If it is any comfort, I saw a special with Barbara Walters, none of the guests remember any pain, even after they get home. Just extremely tired. Hope your husband is recovering quickly.

I've been busy with deployment and benign bone tumor stuff. When I do get back in the swing, I'll just pick up on the current week and worry about the missing blocks later.

Glad to see everyone's still chugging along... or truckin' on. Ugh, both phrases sound terrible.

    Glad to hear it.
