    Now I'm going to check my discharge papers from my hernia surgery from 2-3 years ago.

    I wasn't too worried about getting back to the machine - the docs gave me some GOOD meds...

    I believe that is because of your foot moving up and down on the machine pedal (electric and manual)

    Did they give you a reason why? Pain medication? Maybe using the foot pedal uses muscles you should be resting.
