    I recommend checking out your local Pfaff dealers for a used Pfaff with IDT. The IDT made a huge difference to me and I would hate to go back to piecing without it.

    I do my quilting on a Brother HS2000 that I got from AllBrands.com as refurbished. I got the sewing machine & a serger both for $438. last year. I had it in hand in two days & it hasn't stopped yet. I love it!! Even sewed over blue jean seams without a problem & the best part...it weighs so little I can lift it with one hand with no trouble!! (I have a 20 lb lifting limit).
