Just found these on Clothworks' site. They're future fabrics, marked as "Winter 2010/2011" which probably means they will be shipping to store in early spring. (Nothing ever happens quite on time!)

The group is called "American Hero".

I'm thinking that the ones that have more colors (the first two) will be easier to work with than the one that has just blue as they will be better for color matching.

What do you think? Which one(s) do you think are the most appealing?

I think the white/blue and blue/white would be the easiest to work with... you could add many different reds to them.
These both have two different blues, you could match them or go shades lighter or darker.
I seem to have more difficulty finding reds to match than I do blues. :D:D:D

Love them all. I'd like a bolt to use as backings on my Quilts of Valor.

I like them all. They will all work depending on what colors you use with them.

Yes, those would be great for quilts for veterans or those serving right now. Good find.

I like them all and think they would be absolutely wonderful for Quilts of Valor or any serviceperson. I must say though, that my eye keeps being drawn to the white one.

Just asked Clothworks when these are going to be available and was told April 2011.

And - to my surprise - these are not regular 44" goods, they are 108" backings.

Does that make them more or less appealing/useful?

Do you think that there would be a market for this one, by-the-bolt?
