    Thank you to everyone so far that has commented on this, I feel a lot better now that I've come up with something that others like. I'm still struggling with OBW though, I've talked to some great ladies yesterday via the board, phone and email but I'm still having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. Oh well - this one I can do (I think) lol

    I looked at your first attempt.... this is definitely more pleasing to the eye :D good job on saving quilt.

    I've never done a OBW. They are beautiful though!
    I know there are board members who could help you with fabric choices.

    Love the fabric combinations and the colors, very pleasing to the eye. I think the OBW use fabric with pretty large prints and more of a contrast in the colors. The fabric you started out with was pretty but I think was too small a print.
