Many many women really enjoy being pregnant. I was not one of those. But I had 4 kids so it must not have been that bad!!LOL

Hi! You should talk with a vet because momma cat cleans her babies regularly by licking them so that they will learn how to urinate. My sister(she works for a vet) and has hand-raised several litters. She says you can use a warm wet washcloth to clean the kitten to imitate what the mom does. A three week kitten may already been taking care of itself but I would check with a vet just in case. Chris

AT 3 weeks you still need to to "stimulate" after feeding. Hand raised 3 kittens that were abandoned several yrs ago. I was so glad when they finally starting eating, pooping and peeing on their own. It was a 24/7 job for several weeks.

I would love to be tucked up with Milo - he is gorgeous. So glad Peej is settling down with this one, it would be too sad to part with Milo! Will you keep him?

Oh how precious! I'd probably start litter training with an old cookie sheet or cake pan ... poor little guy doesn't look big enought to climb the edges of a litter box.

They make low kitten boxes. Yes, stimulate after eating. I used a cotton ball and held them over a coated paper plate. I just kept the kittens confined to the bath room until they all learned to use the box, which they did pretty much all on their own. I did put a poop on top and put kitties in the box a few times to give them the general idea.

You may be able to give the formula in a bowl now - just see if the little guy can lap it up yet. I had my group eating on their own (kitten kibble) by 4 weeks. I did mix kibble and formula and turn them loose (in the tub!) a few times. What fun!

We did this two years ago with an almost identical little guy. After we fed him we put him in the sink and stimulated him with a warm wet wash cloth. he had some constipation issues and had to have a vet enema, but after we got that squared away he was fine. Now he is 18 lbs and as spoiled as any cat on the planet. He loves water now too. The milk you use is important. THe Vet told us to stop using the powdered stuff I got at Walmart and to use KMR. It worked wonders on our little guy though it is kind of expensive. There are home recipes on line too. We didn't try that. The only other advice I give you is to find some leather garden gloves. In a few weeks you are going to need them. LOL Good luck.
