Ohhhhhh you have given me ideas!
While the gun is unique and no doubt meaningful to you, I wouldn't use it. However ... antique farm tools, what a great idea!!! :)

I have a triple layered wall quilt rack in my bedroom, so I would be sure to enjoy my quilts all the time. If I need an extra layer at night, off one comes!

Then there's the traditional on the wall, on the bed, draped on the couch positions!

I have some quilt racks (floor and wall) I've bought at garage sales and thrift stores that are summer projects to finish off. Plus an antique spool bed that one end will be on the bed and the other will be converted into a floor quilt rack.

After some threads on this Board, I'm considering using one of my quilts in my sewing room as a patio door cover (with blackout lining for protection).

I have an oversized stuffed chair here in my sewing room. Most of the quilts I make are "shown" there...that and on my beds.

I think your quilt hangers are wonderful!!

I am planning to make a valance for the bedroom windows...making it a pieced and quilted valance.

I am working on a 'Wall-O-Quilts" I have made my own ladders and putting them together so they fill the wall and hang all of my quilts off of them. Eventually when I get my basement finished with a family room I want it to go in there.

I have quilts hanging all over my walls although not on those unique hangers that you have! I have a quilt rack in my family room, table runners & sometimes display them on a chair. I am keeping my eye out for one of those glass front cabinets or something similar.
