What a great idea. I need to do more "vertical" gardening.

The heat has not been kind to us this year. It was 99 degrees yesterday! I have green beans and cuccumbers on the lattice. The lattice was added as an afterthought. My sewing skills have not gone completely by the wayside, I made the hanging tomato bags from outdoor fabric lined with those reinforced trash bags. I put the petunias on top to beautify the bare wood. That's all the neighbors see from outside the fence.

WOW!!! Outstanding!! I applaud you! We can't grow much here in the high desert --- and I miss lots of flowers the most. You're a GREAT gardener!
