    Congrats! Yes, do test-drive, test-drive, TEST-DRIVE, with your own fabrics, threads, and quilt sandwiches. Do your research ahead of time so that the test-drive and the haggling are all that's left. I use PatternReview.com for reviews including prices paid. Good luck, and enjoy your new baby!

    That's how I got my machine. Took a class and my machine didn't make the zigzag narrower so they loaned me a machine. I was a goner. My DH bought me the new machine. I am still happy with it 9 years later.

    I think those machines at the fair will be going on sale after the fair because their demo's.
