Anyone Interested in Get Together in East TN?

To all the Board Members in the East TN area, lets try to get together in Knoxville on Saturday, October 22, 2011 (that's an away game for UT). I thought we could have an early lunch (11:00 a.m.) and then visit Mammaw's Thimble Fabric and Quilt Shop on Papermill Road. If you have not visited Mammaw's, it is a very eclectic shop full of fabrics (8000 bolts), patterns, tools, etc. They have just moved into a new building at 4319 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN. Let me know if this date works for you or if we need to change it. Mammaw's said we needed to wear a pin or color of some kind so they know who we are a group. So you clever folks be thinking about that. We can rearrange the schedule however you prefer. I just came up with a place to start. Let me know if you plan to join us.

Gosh I sure wish I could be there, but I am on my way to Az. now to spend time with my son . Will be gone several months. Hope you guy's have a great get -to -gether. Sorry I have to miss it, maybe next time. Loucb1

Good question about the 11:00 lunch time. Papermill Drive is a separate exit - NOT the one for Sam's Club. If you are coming from the West (heading east), Papermill will be a couple of exits further down the road. Take the Papermill exit and continue East on Papermill. (If you get to the interchange for I-640, you have gone too far.) The store is on the left side of the road. Not too sure of places close by there for eating lunch, though.
I can't positively say right now if I can meet up, but will certainly try. Sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't been to Mammaw's since they moved to their new store.
