What exactly ARE Mom jeans? I think I missed that memo.
Not a mom but I wear whatever fits and is comfortable. Don't really care what label it has. Elastic waist is good on jeans.

I wear higher rise jeans. They are harder to find. I do not like the ones that go just under your boobs though. The ones showing crack and thong are just bad news on anyone.

I still wear the good ole Lee jeans in relaxed fit !! I sometimes have a hard time finding them but it seems K-Mart still carries them....
I am glad 'high waisted/rise " jeans are comeing back in. No more having to look at these overweight girls with muffin tops and jiggly bellies all over the place....alsways tugging on their pants as soon as they get up or while walking !!!

"Mom" jeans are awesome. Hard to find, though and my daughter laughs at me because they come up and cover my bellybutton. I told her I can't wear her sytle of jeans because my muffin top hangs over the top and I have to keep pulling them up!

I am somewhere in between.

I like a medium rise jean. Low rise just makes my fat hang out and "mom jean" irritate the scar tissue on my abdomen.

I will say I had a pair of Lucky jeans and I loved them. The rise was a bit low, but they were so comfortable and I could fit them over my hips.... which is a difficult feat to say the least ;)

I just bought some jeans from llbean. They are great! Cover the tummy and help hold it in. I dont like the ones that give you a "muffin top"

Not a fan of the low rise for all the reasons mentioned in the above piposts. Besides...why not be comfortable instead of listening to what some else touts as fashionable or appropriate just because it is their opinion? Personally, I would rather cover up than have something exposed that should not be!

I don't like "high rise" jeans, but low rise jeans are a no also. They are bad enough when they fit, but I don't have chicken legs, so by the time I find a pair I can get on they are 3 sizes too big in the waist. I wear mens levis most often. They hit right around my belly button - above my hips, but not so high they dig into my ribs when I bend over.
