I like the Goodwill stores for jeans. They have a lot of name brand jeans for around 8.00. Because i am short, at that price i don't mind cutting them to fit..LOL

I love to shop Coldwater Creek. They have great internet sales and I order clothes and have it shipped and if I don't want to keep it I return them to the shop about 12 miles from the house. They have lots of larger sizes on-line.

I also like the Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans as well!

Every time I find a pair of jeans that fit right, the manufacturers change the style (and therefore the fit)! So annoying! Right now, I have a couple of pairs that I bought from the clearance rack at CJ Banks.

Dontcha just hate those jeans that look like you rubbed filthy hands on the thighs? Waiting rather impatiently for THOSE to go out of style....

Arghhh.....I HATE trying to find a pair of jeans that fit and look cool! I have difficulty finding any pants that fit but jeans are the worst. I wear them until they fall apart just to avoid trying to find another pair. The two pair I own are Levi's.

A few years ago I picked some dark denim jeans at WalMart of all places. We were traveling and stopped in to use the restrooms when I spied the jeans, they fit and were cheap so I bought 3 pairs. Last year I was near another WalMart, went in and saw what I thought were the same jeans in a washed denim so I just grabbed a pair and paid for them and continued on my travels. The next week at home I found out that although they were the same size I had bought before they were another brand and they were about 4" too big around the waist and hips. Didn't return them as the nearest WalMart was quite a distance from me and they were so soft and didn't cost much so I kept them to wear around the house.

A good friend keeps telling me to check out the thrift stores.. They are pre shrunk.. Haven't done it yet, but I'm getting tired of hunting for jeans.

I buy mine at The Avenue online. They always have a sale, I buy clearance and get them for $16 or less.

Me too, I love the Amanda jeans. I wait for a good coupon before I buy them at Kohl's. I also find some decent jeans - must have coupon at Avenue. I'm a size 14/short woman. I don't want girls jeans.
    ---------------------------------
I'm also a shortie and wear a tight 12 or loose 14, and love the Amanda jeans that I get at Costco. They wash well and last and last, comfortable and you can't ask for much more than that.
Fashionable? Who cares? I'm 78 this month and don't give two hoots in the wind about fashion if it isn't comfy!!

The last pair of jeans I bought from Junonia- they have big sizes and good sales. I used to buy Gloria Vanderbilt at Macy's. Junonia has this great stretch fabric.
