    Maybe you'd like to make the rectangle an old-fashioned coffin shape?

    Thats a great idea! I was thinking a diamond pattern. But if I made coffin shapes and lined them up side by side tops to bottoms and made the whole thing coffin shaped that would be awesome.
    I'm going over this in my mind and it looks like it will be hard to sew with no straight runs.

    Halloween really is the most fun holiday. Halloween parties with bobbing for apples, running through the corn fields, dressing up, carving pumpkins, haunted houses, paying homage to the dead, and the themes / components, colors, shapes, are art and quilting gold mines.
    This coffin shaped squares is a challenge I will conquer.
