Thank you, Jingle! The pattern I used had been done in red and white. I shopped my stash to find adequate amounts of material to make this quilt. I love scrappy quilts but I really like the look of a 2-color quilt. I'll have to make more of these! Can't wait to see which pattern you choose and what you do with it!!!

The answer would vary so much depending on what the two fabrics are like. Some lend themselves more to one pattern than another.

A good place for ideas would be to look at the blocks at QuiltersCache.com

Two colors? Churn Dash? A Strippy? Robbing Peter to Pay Paul?
Snowball is nice if you want to show off pattern in the fabric.....

I really like the way this one was strip-pieced and the extra HSTs I got from making the Corn and Beans part of the block was incorporated ala Bonnie Hunter into the border.
That is a beautiful quilt!!!!! Perhaps one day I will get that good!!! Thank you for sharing!!

Saw a green and white improved nine-patch in a book that was beautiful. Now on my to-do list.

Thanks! It really wasn't very difficult because of the way the pattern designer figured out how to strip-piece most of it!
