Right now in Alabama, it is craft show time. I just had one a week ago and I sold 2 lap and 3 baby quilts plus numerous table runners. And I met alot of people and had a great time. I have another one on Dec. 3 and hope it will go as well, then another in S. Alabama. Then I will start working on things for next years shows. I don't charge alot, just to cover the cost so I can buy more fabric to make more. I don't really charge for my time as this is what I love to do, just want to keep going. Then, I have a really large family who I make gifts for.

Your quilts are very pretty. Most of my quilts are given to different charities. I used to sell them several years ago, but can't seem to do that any more.

I don't know how long you gave Etsy but as cheap as it is you should leave them there, everybody says now is the best time because of the holidays I sold 4 right off the bat and haven't done anything in 3 weeks.
just hang onto them, you will have unique gifts to give when needed if they don't sell. just stock up on good plastic storage containers untill someone decides they want to buy it, don't make the price way down there because they figure it's crap.

Why not contact your local PTAs and ask if they need donations for their Tricky Trays... they would be delighted to get one of your quilts and I'm sure if you mentioned that you sell them and your prices, word would spread quickly! Attach your business card to the quilt when you donate it too. Also, how about hosting a holiday open house at your home? Do you have any other friends that are crafters or maybe sell Mary Kaye or Pampered Chef. I bet you'd do great! If you have stock now, look around for holiday craft shows, now is the perfect time!! good luck! Your quilts are beautiful.... oh, and its true... don't sell too cheap....its not fair to you!!

If you live on a busy highway make a sign "Baby Quilts for Sale" , that's how I sell mine. Also check out any crafts sale at this time fo year.

I have a list of family members that I plan on making quilts and lap quilts for. I have kept one quilt for myself. I have donated a quilt to my father's church, in memory of him

Your quilts are beautiful I don't have any answers to what to do with them other than what you have already been doing. I will keep thinking,.
