A picture is worth a thousand words. I don't use a tool, but one day I saw just the right picture and I've not had a problem since. I keep the picture on my desktop should I forget.

I have the same tool and I like it also, but I found that because I don't do binding on a regular basis, I would have to watch the video each time. Then it dawned on me to write up a cheat sheet in my own words, that I would understand each time I use the tool. That did the trick for me.

I will check that out. I have a binding tool that has sat waiting to be used, finally an answer

I too struggled until I finally made myself a sample from the instructions in the book by JoAnn's "Your Guide to Quilting" page 258. I left the sample binding loose and I can look at the joining of the two ends and get it right the first time.

I am so glad to know I am not alone. I ended up taking photos of the correct set up on my cell phone and refer back to it when I am doing binding. It is funny, I always thought I was alone in being confused about it - and I think it is largely because I go such long stretches in between finishing quilts. Whew, I am glad to know I am among friends!

I have learned a lot watching videos on UTube. I affectionately refer to it as "UTube University".

have you watched my video on www.quilterstv.com on binding. You don't need a tool.

I did too, and thought I'd pull my hair out getting it done without twisting. Sure enough, I Googled it and found that one little piece of info had been left out. If you want I'll try to find the site that gave me the correct information.
