I do love cats but otherwise agree with everything said. What a great choice of fabrics. Batiks make beautiful cats.
These cats are from Claire's Cats Vol 1 by Darcy Ashton. This is a UFO I recently brought back to life! 
I am currently doing hand applique for the kitties and I plan to have sashing between the blocks and applique mice on the boarders.

Love the cats... love your fabric choices. Darcy Ashton is one of my favorite designers. Love all of her patterns. She does lots of different animals and everytime I see one of her patterns in progress, it makes me want to do another one too.
