    That's on my to do list as well. What size is that one? Did you start small or is it big? Just curious. I have one in a magazine but its huge and then smaller ones in the corners trying to work up my nerve! Awesome job and I love purple too

    That is beautiful!! The fabrics remind me of somewhere tropical...which is nice to think of on these cloudy dreary days!

    Starc or Best Press!

    Also realign your ruler every to every other cutting. It doesn't take much to get off angle.

    Some quilters prefer paper piecing or using QuiltSmart for doing this.

    I have been slowly getting this done...I was on hiatus due to a two week visit from my mother in law. Suffice it to say she doesn't inspire creativity. Since taking this photo I have completed another 'arm' of the star. Just two more to go!
