The bowl is actually really easy to make. There's a book out called "Fast, Fun & Easy Fabric Bowls" that shows how to make them. I found a two sided fusible called Peltex instead of the Timtex and Wonder Under they call for in the book.

The bowl patterns are in the book "fast, fun & easy fabric bowls" by Linda Johansen. There are 5 different designs and they are reversible. I have made dozens of them over the years and are easy to do. Simplicity patterns also had a similar pattern at one time.
