There are many videos about this machine on youtube. I have saved myself a trip to the repair shop watching videos for my brand of machine. Some problems are easy fixes and I have a general idea of what is wrong with the machine if I have to take her in.

My mom had a Pfaff 7550 when we were cleaning out her storage before she went into the nursing home my sister took the 7550 and I took the Juki. She discovered that the 7550 was not working. She could get it to stitch but barely. The light was not working at all and since she had no idea on what the panel said she figured it was toast. She took it to the Dr. and was told it was in such poor shape it would cost more to repair than it was worth. I don't know if someone was trying to make a sale of a new machine?? Or what. Right now reading this makes me wonder if it could have been repaired??
