I have been retired for 12 years and have never been bored. I quilt, read, go swimming one day a week, clean a little etc. Watch tv when I can find something good and just enjoy myself. Enjoy your retirement. It's the best!!!

I am retired for 8 years and have never been bored. Sometimes between projects, or not in the mood for something but, bored? Nope!! I go to the gym 3 x a week, have a little job, 3 hours a week, usual errands, lunches, quilting, house care, etc. Sometimes I wonder how I had time to work!!! And, why did the days go by so slowly at work sometimes? Now the days zip by.

I retired last June and have not been bored so far anyway. I belong to five different organizations and two charity quilting groups. Then I have other friends to get together with for lunch, movies, etc. Don't get as much quilting done as I thought I would cause I'm always busy with something. But I do save time for naps when I need them and reading this board every day.

We live in a retirement community 6 months a year. There is so much to do here I have to go home to rest up. I never get bored!

I retired for a year and liked being able to make lots of quilts.I didn't like not getting out every day. I went back to work. I work for my Husband with our 2 oldest kids and missed seeing them everyday. I don't get as many quilts made but, I no longer have anyone to give them to, everyone has 2 or more quilts. My pets didn't like me there all day either, they were use to my previous schedule. Now everyone is happy again.

I was out of work for 8 months so it was like being retired. I loved it! I was rarely bored and if I was, I just went someplace. I am back to work now and waiting for when I canretire for real.

Retirement is the best job I've ever had! Never bored and always doing something, even if it is wrong.........

I am never bored either, I can always find something to play with sewing embroidery or just fabric looking and rearranging. I also have a friend that does not work but complains of being bored also. I just don't get it.
