I have it on all my rulers. Love it and have used it for at least 5 years.

I am not fond of Invisigrip either... used it on one ruler and went back to my sandpaper dots.

I bought a roll, put it on all my rulers, and ended up peeling it off. After awhile, no longer 'grips' like I expected it to. I ended up trying the fabric gripper dots and sandpaper dots. No problems with either one. I tried the hot glue but am sure I did something wrong because I couldn't get the glue dots even so the ruler wasn't wobbly.

I had used a paper punch to punch out sandpaper dots and then used rubber cement to attach the dots to my rulers and it has worked so well that I never used the invisigrip

I use Invisigrip as well and I like it. Just enough hold and it really helps me.

I have it on all my rulers and love it. When it starts to peel off I clean it with clear water and reapply. I have also used the plastic wrap that clings to your dishes. Plastic wrap doesn't last as long as the Invisagrip but it does a good job. The instructions tell you to cut the invisagrip slightly smaller than your ruler.

I bought Invisigrip about 3 months ago and took off the old sandpaper dots and applied the invisigrip to all of my rulers. I haven't had any problems. It seems to hold the rulers in place fine. Haven't had them move on me. And I've put it on a 15x15" and an 8x24" ruler and they stay in place. So it seems to work well.

I have clear dots (pre-made - not drops of glue) on the corner of my rulers. They work really well. Too well, sometimes!

I bought two rolls of it and put it on every ruler I have, (have many),and I have to say that
I like it very much. I had used the sandpaper dots first and found that they didn't work as
    well as the Invisigrip.
