Congrats! Your new emb machine will open up a whole new world of fun for you!

I especially like embroidery library designs. Beware of free designs that the stitching is all going in the same direction. They tend to pull and you get puckers really bad sometimes.

ALWAYS to a test 1st, you will be sorry if you don't. Save those tests because you can incorporate them into a quilt later.

    Have fun!

I have often wondered about buying that to download embroidery designs with my brother........i have downloaded from a cd to a memory stick and used that..........but here is my question for anyone out there.........do the files come zipped or unzipped........for what ever reason i cannot unzip files.........i may have to break down and get your program you just got.........is it difficult to learn, since i am not very computer savy.....

another option - find a friend who can unzip files, send it to them, they can unzip it and send it back to you.

    Hey Cheryl
I think your computer needs to be Windows ME or XP, or Apple OS X.
A zip/unzip program is an ESSENTIAL tool. Especially, for you because you use the internet alot. The ZIP file format allows you to "smush" a file so that it takes up less space on your hard drive. It also allow you to "make a copy" so you can put the original someplace else. I think you can get WinZip online. When you do get the WinZip, it appears as an open file folder on the desktop with a zipper down the middle of it. You click on that file to open things..

    Your sis

I discovered that if you right click on the zipped file you can choose extract all and it unzips it for you. Now I am on a roll!
