    Thanks for all the replys. This give me something to work with. I was afraid the fray check was a bad idea.

    When I was sewing for my children I used fraycheck all the time. They never complained of any rough spots. I used very little and it always held. Some shirts and pants lasted through 4 kids. Most of the time I did not used the bottle, I put it on with an old pin. Worked for me.
