I have a badged 15 clone with tension in the back that looks just like that one. Beautiful machine, I have no room for it.

    LynnVT,
I have a 201 and haven't had much luck doing FMQ with it. Its my favorite machine for piecing quilts and straight line quilting. My 201K is a treadle, formerly hand crank powered. Its a very quiet machine; almost 8" of throat space.

I love it, I want it -- but DH thinks 20 machines are enough.

I came across the 201-3 while looking for something else and thought it was a good deal!! But I'm working on my landscaping now so another machine will have to wait. Besides, not sure where I would put it (although who needs a kitchen anyway????)

I love my 201-2. You are right about it being quiet. It should last another 60 years.
