    I love the ducks. I love the fish too. I wish I could see them a little closer. Beautiful job on this quilt.

    Thank you dungeonquilter for posting the link - isn't it a wonderful pattern! Thank you all for the kind comments. I would like one day to make the whole quilt but for the moment I am starting small. I am going to make some of those blocks up as placemats. I really enjoyed hand stippling the background. I liked that the traditional block matched the applique.

    Ditto Kitsykeel....beautiful and very clever to "match" the applique to the pieced block ! Your friend is sure to be so pleased.
