A very nice product. Very easy to quilt through, if you want to do that, and has just the right amount of stiffness to make bags, slippers soft and shapely. I like using it. They sell small sizes of this product that would be a very small investment to use as a trial on a small project to see if you like it. That's what I did and I like it.

(I am not affiliated in any way except as a user of this stuff)

I used Soft and Stable in my first tote bag and loved it. Since then, I have made dozens of tote bags for family and friends. I can't imagine any product being better for tote bags than Soft and Stable.

I recently used Soft and Stable in my Versitile Wave bag and it is a really nice product. My friend mentioned the headliner fabric from Joann but I was wondering if either product is washable. I also just watched a video about a new product called Stiff Stuff by Lazy Girl Designs. It works the same but without the bulk. It is $5.29 per yard from that site. I noticed that Joann.com has a product from Pellon that sounds like Spft and Stable and was wondering ifanyone has tried that product.

I was wondering if this product was similar to soft and stable? It is much cheaper than Soft and Stable here in the UK.

It kind if sounds like the same product but I wasn't sure about the part that said laminate. Maybe there are some reviews on that product?

I have two bolts of a woven fusible that I am using for some bags. I am trying to use up what I have.

I read about this. I think it is the same. Walmart carries Pellon so I'll has the fabric manager here to order some.

I'm in a facebook group of people who sew bags, and several prefer this brand. I bought some but have not used it yet. I wish I could remember the specifics of why they preferred this brand over the soft and stable.

I made a bag using Soft and Stable for my grandson's girlfriend. The Soft and Stable is holding up very well. The fabric in the bag is wearing out. She has been carrying the bag daily for two years.
