    I remember those exact words from my mom too. I'm sure I've said them to our kids a time or two.

    Nice find. I've bought fabric at 1 of the local thrift shops here and found they have measured it wrong - they'll measure across the width of the fabric and call it a yard. Guess they don't sew and they get in a hurry or just don't pay attention. Have fun with your fabrics.

    It is always a good day when you run across something like this. You got a great lot of nice fabric. Recently, I found several yards of white eyelet for less than 4 dollars. The section where the fabric might be stored is my first hit at the thrift stores.
