Try re-threading the top thread in the machine. Often the bunching will happen if your thread slips out of the tension guides up top. I was taught years ago, if the thread on the bottom of the fabric does not look good, the problem is the top thread tension. This problem happens to me frequently, and re-threading the machine up top is my first fix and usually solves the problem.

Thank you all for the advice. I have tried it all and the silly thing is still bunching up the tread. I guess I will take in to the shop where I bought it. Again thank you'll for responding. Neat site, hope to log on more and lean a few things about quilting. I'm a beginner! :-)
