Ok I broke down and went to Mile High Comics and purchased
the "Silver Age" comic backing boards. They are 7x10-1/2 inches
slightly larger than the "current" issue boards which are about
6-3/4 x101/2" got 200 boards to start with but I know I will end
up needing about 4-5 times that many once I get started.

Now my problem is going to be WHERE/HOW will I store all these
after I get my fabric folded onto them.

But I will NOT go back to the store where I got these from as
the guy pretty much made me mad as heck. He asked what was
I planning to use that many boards for I told him for folding my
    fabric onto them.

He made a few RUDE comments about about how "crafters" are
always using things not intended for them. I told him I was being
NICE by bringing my business LOCALLY to his store as to going to
a big chain store or online to get them. But if he didn't want my
business that was fine with me I can shop else where.

Quilty Louise,I would make a comment about crafters always using things in a way that they are not intended for and say, "Yes, we are so creative and learn to think out of the box. Can you do that?"

Looks great! I love those boards, I often wonder who the first woman was to think of using them.

Quilty-Louise that is just bizarre! I didn't realize that "crafter's" $$ was so not worth having for a small business. I wouldn't go back either unless it was to let the owner know about their rude employee!

It's also good to know that they come in different sizes... the size you bought would not fit in my drawers.
