    I like the sashing, but the other is nice too.

    I agree with the others to use sashing, I think it make the blocks stand out. Working on one myself & ended up deciding to do a "trellis" look with sashing around the diamonds. In the end it is your quilt & decision. I hope that you post a picture of your pretty quilt.

    My vote is for NO sashing. Being so totally scrappy, sashing would stop the motion and movement across the quillt as you looked at it and interrupt the scrappy flow. You end up not seeing the scrappy quilt but a compilation of strip pieced blocks that just look like leftover blocks put together. IMHO

    Will be cool when done.

    I like both but with sashing is the best IMHO. These blocks always make me think of a scrappy hourglass. It is going to be beautiful whichever way you go.

    I like it without the sashing. I think it shows the scrappy look better.

    I like the secondary pattern made without sashing. It'll read as a whole quilt. With sashing reads as scrappy blocks.
